Leonie Ute Maria Adam was born in 1993 and lives in Dortmund. She studied theater education until 2017 and wrote her final thesis on interventions to Brecht’s Lehrstücktheorie. She held a scholarship from the Hans Böckler Foundation until 2021, after which she worked as a teacher and freelance theater pedagogue and graduated with a master’s degree in dramaturgy from the Ernst Busch University of Dramatic Arts Berlin in 2021. From 2021-2022 she was a permanent dramaturg at Theater Bremen. In 2022 she took over the theatrical mediation of the festival FAVORITEN in Dortmund. She has been working as a freelance mediator and dramaturge since 2022. In addition to facilitating discourse events and artistic group processes, she supported 4.D in spring 2023 as a NRW Young Talent Scholar for Free Children’s and Youth Theater.

Von 2021-2022 war sie feste Dramaturgin am Theater Bremen. 2022 übernahm sie die Theater-Vermittlung des Festivals FAVORITEN in Dortmund. Sie ist seit 2022 als freie Vermittlerin und Dramaturgin tätig. Neben der Moderation von Diskurs-Veranstaltungen und künstlerischen Gruppenprozessen hat sie im Frühjahr 2023 als NRW Nachwuchsstipendiatin für Freie Kinder- und Jugendtheater 4.D unterstützt.
